Dear Schnecksville Families,
Welcome to the Schnecksville Elementary School website. As you navigate around you will find a lot of useful information in order to stay informed.
I am excited for another great school year at Schnecksville. Schnecksville has a wonderful staff that works together to provide the best education for all students at Schnecksville. Each teacher offers a website that provides you with helpful information.
Our teachers will be using Schoology to post assignments and videos. Schoology will be the place to check for assignments and updates to your child’s class as we progress through the school year. This year we will be implementing our new math curriculum, which is called Math in Focus. Teachers and staff have been participating in professional development sessions over the summer to ensure a smooth transition with our new curriculum.
Please be sure to check out our weekly Wednesday communications that are sent home electronically to notify you of important updates and changes that may occur during the school year. We will also be posting information and events happening at our building on our Twitter and Facebook pages. Please feel free to check them out to see what is going on here at Schnecksville.
We are proud of Schnecksville School’s partnership between the staff and families. Families play an important role in how well students do in school, and we look forward to working with our families to create positive relationships focused on student academic, social, emotional and physical growth.
As many of you have seen, we are in the final stages of our construction project here at Schnecksville. The last portion of the construction that is visible is the courtyard project. The oldest section of the building has been taken down and will become an outdoor learning space. This is expected to be finished by the end of October.
At Schnecksville we have a school-wide positive behavior support plan (SWPBS). As the SHARKs, we teach our students to be Safe, Helpful, Accountable, Respectful and Kind. Students receive positive praise and earn rewards for their good behavior throughout the school year. For more information on SWPBS, please visit the Guidance tab on the menu to the left of this page.
This is going to be another wonderful year, and I look forward to working with our Schnecksville families and staff to help every student reach their maximum potential.
Please feel free to contact me at any time via email email@example.com or by phone 610-351-5830 if you have any questions or concerns.
I am looking forward to a Fintastic Year!
Damian Goodman, Principal
