Schnecksville Art Show & Book Fair - Friday 5/20 5 - 7 pm

Come on out to the Art Show and Book Fair on Friday, May 20th 5 -7 pm!  Every one of our Schnecksville Sharks will have something in the Art Show! Bring family or friends to enjoy viewing the artwork made by our Sharks this year! 


Our Spring BOGO Book Fair is scheduled for next week: Tuesday 5/17-Friday 5/20.

Classes will visit the Book Fair during their Library encore time. The Book Fair will also be open during our Schnecksville Art Show on May 20th 5 - 7 pm!

Spring Family Game Night 5/24 6-7 pm

Our FINAL game night of the year will be on May 24th from 6-7pm.  We are very excited to announce that this event will be held IN-PERSON at Schnecksville Elementary! 

Our goal is to make sure you have some helpful tools to support your child's reading and math skills over the summer.  We will have stations set up with grade appropriate activities and your family will be able to create some fun games and activities to take home and play throughout the summer! To top it off, we will end the night with some games of Bingo for your student to have the chance to win some book prizes!

We are kicking off our Schnecksville Boosterthon Fun Run fundraiser on TODAY Wednesday, May 4th!  Students will be completing 35 minutes of activity with a Fun Run on Friday, May 13th! It’s going to be a FUN experience for ALL students and comes with a brand new character theme, called Sports City Worldwide!  Not only will this help our school raise some much needed funds, but it will also engage your students socially & emotionally.  If you feel that your family is not in a position to financially give, that is okay!  You can still support our fundraiser by SHARING your student’s pledge page with friends & family!

PDE Electronics Letter for Parents


Please email Mr. Goodman any teacher request that you may have for next year. The deadline to have these requests to him is by May 15th. Although we read and take into consideration every request, it is important to remember that we may note be able to accommodate all requests received.


Bus Passes:

Bus passes (to ride a different bus or to a different bus stop) continue to be issued only for emergency situations / urgent childcare needs. Please do NOT request a bus pass for playdates or other non-emergency circumstances.


Reminders on Volunteer Clearances

ALL volunteers MUST have completed and approved clearances, as well as completed Volunteer Packet. These ARE REQUIRED.

  • New volunteers to PSD must provide clearances that are dated within the last year. If you have been a volunteer in the past, but your clearances expired, you must start fresh with clearances and a completed Volunteer Packet.
  • Keep in mind that clearances are good for 5 years. 
  • If you need to check on your clearances status, call the main office.
  • You are responsible for tracking your own renewal dates.
  • Keep a copy of your clearances for your own records.
  • Bring, email or send with your child to the school office. We will review them and send to the PSD clearance coordinator in HR.

Effective Tuesday 4/19, the Main Office will be located in the new wing of our school!

Please come to the new entrance for anything you need at the office, including late drop-off, early pick-up, forgotten items, etc. You may buzz in on the left side of the door, where you will then enter our new security vestibule. 

Several classrooms and offices are also moving into the new wing at the same time!

Buses and Parent Drop-off / Pick-up will remain as they are currently.
