Friday May 24th beginning at 5 PM! 

  • We have a confirmed 8 - yes 8! - working police K9's, from around the Lehigh Valley coming!!
  • We are asking families to donate $5.00 a person (recommended, not mandatory) to help raise funds for our local police pups.
  • PFG Pizza and Kona Water Ice are the food trucks.
  • Families are encouraged to bring blankets and comfy beach chairs for the movie, but we will have regular folding chairs available.

The Parkland Community Advisory Council will hold its May meeting on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Parkland Administration Center, located at 1210 Springhouse Road. These monthly meetings are open to the public. This is the last meeting of the 2023-2024 school year and the CAC will be discussing the possible monthly presentations for the 2024-2025 school year, and will also be holding their board elections. School dental examinations are scheduled to take place on May 22nd in the health room. If your child is missing the state mandated Kindergarten or 3rd grade dental examination, you may choose to have them examined by our school dentist.

5th Grade Concert Reminder!

The 5th grade spring chorus concert will take place on Monday, May 13th at 7:00 PM in the Schnecksville gymnasium. 5th grade students should report to the general/vocal music room at 6:30 PM. If for some reason your child is unable to attend the evening performance, please let Miss Rosak know immediately. 

Students are expected to arrive at school on Monday, May 13th in concert dress. This means dress pants, skirts, or dresses, and a dress shirt. Dress as you would on a special occasion. Please avoid jeans, hoodies, or writing on shirts.

Bagged lunches will consist of a turkey and cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread, a bag of carrots and ranch dressing, an applesauce cup, and an 8 oz water and will be charged at their normal rate to students' cafeteria accounts. On the early dismissal day, your child's bagged lunch will be delivered to the child's classroom prior to dismissal time.

The Schnecksville Art Show and Book Fair  

Friday, May 10th from 5:00 - 8:00pm.  

Every Schnecksville Elementary student will have artwork on display!  

There will be many new opportunities this year including free face painting, art stations, and a glow gallery.  

There will be giveaways, raffle prizes, and other great surprises!  

The Sticky Pig and the Udder Bar food trucks will be onsite for the event and the Scholastic book fair will be open to families.  

We look forward to seeing everyone for an evening full of FIN-tastic ART and FUN!
