Olympic Day is a go! The events may be held inside, depending on the air quality tomorrow. The decision will be made tomorrow morning.
All students should wear sneakers and bring a water bottle!
Extra Yearbooks Available
YES! There are a few extra Schnecksville Elementary Yearbooks available for sale in the office thru the end of school, while they last!
Yearbooks are $25 each.
Exact change only or check payable to Schnecksville Elementary PTO.
Your child can come to the office to purchase one or you can stop in to the office to do so between 9 am - 3 pm.
Quantities are limited, so don't delay. We only have a few and will sell them first come first serve.
Please note the following for the end of the school year:
Students may keep their devices for the summer. **The exception to this is if your family is moving out of Parkland SD this summer.**
If you have moved or are moving this summer, please contact the office ASAP. This includes moves 1) within Schnecksville, 2) within Parkland School District or 3) out-of-district. It is very important that we are made aware of all changes of address and schools!
2022-23 Final Report Cards
Report cards will be available 6/9/23 on Home Access Center (HAC) only. Please log into HAC to view them.
The school office will be OPEN Monday - Thursday weekly, closed on Fridays. Hours are generally 8 am - 4 pm. Please call ahead for an appointment.

We ask volunteers to plan to spend 1/2 day or the full day with us.
• Volunteers check in at the GYM ENTRANCE to sign-in and get a volunteer badge, then meet Mr. O'Brien in the Gym at 8:15 a.m. to be assigned to a station.
• Please plan to bring a lunch to eat outside during a break in your assignment. Bring a water bottle!
• Our busy, fun and activity-filled Olympic Day will end at 3:00 p.m.

The PTO is excited to announce that our annual ice cream social has returned! On Thursday, June 1, 2023, the students will get to enjoy ice cream sundaes in the afternoon. In order to make this event a success, we will need volunteers to assist with preparing and serving the ice cream to the children. Please note that you must have your clearances submitted with the district in order to volunteer at this event. Thank you for your help!
Our Spring Book Fair is coming up May 22nd - May 25th! Book Fair will also be open during our Schnecksville Art Show the evening of May 19th! (see the volunteer signup below!). Additionally this year, we are collecting food for the Parkland Cares Food Pantry during the ART Show & Book Fair on Friday evening and throughout the Book Fair days! See the Parkland Cares Food Pantry needs below:

Reminder: 5th Grade Chorus Concert
The 5th grade spring chorus concert is coming up on Tuesday, May 16. Students should come to school that day dressed in their best! Parents and families of 5th grade students are invited to our evening concert at 7:00 PM in the Schnecksville gymnasium. 5th grade students should meet in the music room at 6:30 PM that evening. We look forward to seeing you!

Schnecksville Art Show Volunteers Needed!
Mrs. Kirschman needs your help! She is holding an art show to celebrate and display our students' artwork. The art show will be held on the evening of Friday, May 19th. In order to make the art show a success, Mrs. Kirschman needs parent volunteers to help prepare and frame the artwork prior to the show. Mrs. Kirschman is looking for volunteers to come in between May 8-12 and May 15-18. Olympic Day Volunteers Needed!
Our Olympic Day will be held on Thursday June 8th! Parent volunteers are important in making this a safe, fun-filled day for our Schnecksville students! Sign-up HERE if you'd like to volunteer at Olympic Day!
• If you would like to purchase a volunteer shirt for $6.00 ($8.00 for XXL), your payment MUST be received BEFORE 4/28/22. Use the order form that was sent home with your child or print this one.

Do you have a teacher request for next year?
Please email Mr. Goodman any teacher request that you may have for next year. May 15th is the deadline to have these requests to him. Although we read and take into consideration every request, it is important to remember that we may not be able to accommodate all requests received.
